PURPOSE:To provide a data entry device containing data relating plural input systems to output KANJI (Chinese character) code systems, respectively and capable of referring to it. CONSTITUTION:A dictionary file 5 corresponding to both various kinds of input systems (KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI conversion, various associate input systems and KANJI code systems (IBM, JIS, Shift JIS, JEF, etc.) and an index file 4 which corresponds to both various associate input systems and KANJI code systems are provided in a filing system. This device is composed as a data base file in which a registration word or plural correspondent KANJI codes and associate data with one single KANJI as a record are provided in a field. Code book reference by manual work can be eliminated, which remarkably improves the working efficiency of an operator by retrieving the index file 4 in an on-line operation and enabling a retrieval result to be outputted. |
