PURPOSE:To display data entered externally in a proper timing not giving any hindrance to an image forming sequence. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 801 discriminates the propriety of a display timing of external entry section display data to an LCD display device 701 based on whether or not the image forming device main body is in operation, whether or not the image forming mode by an operation section is set and whether or not data are displayed on the LCD display device 701 or the like, the start of transfer of the external entry display data from a RAM 803 to the LCD display device 701 is enabled or inhibited based on the result of discrimination. |
