PURPOSE:To precisely connect each divided and inputted picture, and to obtain a superior picture quality by providing a connection processing means which corrects the edge part of original data on which a joint is present. CONSTITUTION:When a connection mode is designated, the original stored in a picture memory 43 is transmitted to a connection processing part 48, the retrieval of data is operated by a joint recognizing part 44, and the joint of the original is recognized. Next, the data are rearranged so that joints can be mutually faced by a data rearranging part 45, positioned so that the pictures at the joints can be matched by a positioning part 46, and synthesized by a synthesis processing part 47. Then, the original data after the processing of the connection processing part 48 is ended are inputted to the picture memory 43 again. Therefore, the troublesome labor can omitted, the edge part of the original data can be corrected, and the unnature of the joint can be canceled, for the divided and read pictures. |
