The balance is located between an aircraft wing structure (8) and one end of two connecting rods (2). The other ends (3) of the connecting rods are fastened to the aircraft engine (1). The balance consists of a pair of cylindrical chambers (12), filled with liquid and communicating through a pipe (13). Each chamber contains a piston, connected to one of the connecting rods, which is able to vary the volume of the chamber. If the fluid chamber walls are rigidly connected to the wing structure the connecting rods may be divided into two parts joined by a ball joint so that the piston may slide easily if the orientation of the connecting rod varies slightly. USE - Balancing of transmitted engine power to aircraft structure.
