The sport of Ice Hockey, usually played during the cold winter with skates or boots, has grown in popularity and is now being played year round. Enthusiasts have created in-line roller skates and play a dry land version of the game during thewarm seasons. Plastic discs and tennis balls replace the conventional hard rubber puck. Difficulty occurs when attempting to slide these puck-like discs or tennisballs on dry land surfaces. In this invention, the puck is designed with a roller ball, centrally contained therein, that allows the surrounding disc to float freely while the ball rolls over dry land surfaces. The disc is comprised of two parts, each identical; the two halves are fastened together to contain the ball in the roller socket and allow the ball to roll freely. The action reduces friction and more closely resembles a conventional puck sliding on an ice surface.
