PURPOSE:To reduce the band frequency in the linearity required for an optical transmission equipment from the RF band to the IF band by synchronizing the frequency of the RF signal of a radio zone. CONSTITUTION:In the radio communication equipment where the equipment main body and the antenna part are connected by an optical transmission part, the equipment main body is provided with a synthesizing means 101, which superposes an intermediate frequency signal and a non-modulated wave having a frequency approximating that of the intermediate frequency signal one over the other, and an electric/optical conversion means 102 which subjects the superposed signal to electric/optical conversion to transmit it to the antenna part, and the antenna part is provided with an optical/electric conversion means 103 for a received optical signal, a branching means 104 which separates the signal subjected to optical/electric conversion to the intermediate frequency signal and the non-modulated wave, a multiplying means 105 which multiplies the separated non-modulated wave to obtain a local oscillation signal, and a frequency conversion means 106 which uses the local oscillator signal to convert the separated intermediate frequency signal to a radio frequency signal. |
