PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for displaying an image after a CPU issues a command in a computer for an image processing which is suitable in the case it is used for a computer game. CONSTITUTION:By a coordinate transformation device 7, the coordinate transformation is executed, data subjected to coordinate transformation is subjected to sorting by a CPU 2, and based on the data subjected to sorting, an image synthesis is executed. Between a memory 3 and the coordinate transformation device 7, and between the memory 3 and an image synthesizing device 6, a DMA (direct memory access) transfer of the data can be executed. In such a manner, a coordinate transformation processing and a sorting processing are subjected to a pipeline processing, and also, a gradient calculation and polygon plotting are subjected to the pipeline processing, and within the time of one frame, the coordinate transformation processing and the sorting processing, and the gradient calculation and the polygon plotting can be completed. |
