The ceramic coating solution for an electric bulb is composed of 5-30 wt.% one or more silane compounds of tetraalkyl orthosilicate, tetraaryl orthosilicate, n-propyl silicate, n-butyl silicate, phenyl orthosilicate, n-acryl orthosilicate, 20-60 wt.% methyl ethyl ketone or alcohol as a solvent, 5-30 wt.% water, 0.01-5 wt.% inorganic acid comprising hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, or sulphuric acid, and some content of an inorganic or azo based pigment.
