PURPOSE:To keep the stability in the optical output precision by having a light emitting timing control means which generate timing signals that give the instruct of a start of a recording or an erasing right after the completion of a preformatted portion. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 9 receives recorded signals from the outside, supplies the recorded signals to a laser driving control circuit 5 or receives reproduced signals outputted from a data signal processing section 17, supplies them to the outside as a prescribed format and performs other control operations. A light emitting timing control section 7 generates prescribed timing signals which indicate a start timing of a recording or an erasing basing on the ID detection signals from an address signal processing section 13 and supplies them to the circuit 5. In this case, most of the circuit devices are realized by a single microprocessor which is properly programmed. |
