The mobile safe is a secure enclosure mounted on wheels (2) and provided with a handle (3) to manoeuvre the safe. The safe has a filling trap and an emptying trap (5,15), both coupled to a locking and operating mechanism. The filling trap is operated by a fixed transfer unit which operates only when the safe is in the correct position. The safe is recognised by a unit (21) that faces a plate on the top of the safe that has an array of permanent magnets arranged in a coded pattern.
