Control of hydraulic receivers e.g. in agricultural and construction equipment - using distributor having two slide valves, oil flow detector, oil switching unit and control buttons

A series of single and double-acting hydraulic receivers (4,6) are connected (2,3,5) to a distribution unit (1). The distribution unit (1) has two electromagnetic slide valves whose position is controlled by a command unit (20) so that normally they are in synchronous oscillation. The resulting oil flow is sensed by a detector unit (13) which causes an oil flow switch (9) to short circuit the oil pump (10). When a command is entered through one of the buttons (21-26), the distributor slide valves stop at the required position. The detector sees no oscillating oil flow and instructs the oil switch (9) to feed the distributor (1). ADVANTAGE - The system is modular and a number of different receivers may be supplied from one distributor.
