The protection comprises two identical half crowns (5) in which a housing (7,8) for the head (1) is provided. The housing is assembled around the head by a projecting fitting (4) interlocking in a groove (6) which has a central lug. The dimensions of the housing (7,8) are defined by the form and dimensions of the type of spray head (1). The diametrically opposite ends of a half crown (5) have cut-out sections (4,6) which are symmetrically inverted and form the interlocking pieces. The ridge line of the projecting part (4) and the groove bottom are aligned on the same axis passing through the half crown centre. USE - Protection of continuous water spray jets.
