PURPOSE:To send data without the need to temporarily edit and store the data in a storage device by detecting an optional page in a file in the storage device and processing the data into the data to be sent as one file without storing them in the storage device. CONSTITUTION:In facsimile transmission mode, a signal processing control part 1 reads only specified pages in a file with a specified file name in the storage device in order as a transmission document to an editing part 3 and a page detection part 6 detects the pages in the files, so that only a target page is inputted to the editing part 3. The signal processing control part 1 controls a facsimile modem part 7 to acquire a communication channel 8 and when opposite facsimile equipment is connected, dot image data in a temporary storage part 4 are read out in order from the head and sent as facsimile transmission image data to the facsimile modem part 7. The facsimile modem part 7 modules the facsimile transmission image data according to the facsimile standards and sends the data out to a communication channel 8. |
