The drilling machine for direct seeding has a frame, supply container and drilling shares set movable perpendicularly on cross supports running across the travel direction. On increasing the line spacing of thje furrows drawn in the ground by the drilling shares (8) the shares (8) operate with a share step (A). The shares (8) of the front and/or rear cross row (10,11) are displaceable sideways by the extent of the 'grain row spacing' (B) and/or half the distance (C) between two adjoining drilling shares (8). The shares can be displaceable sideways so that each share of the rear cross row (11) seen in the travel direction (5) aligns with a share (8) of the front cross row. USE/ADVANTAGE - The drilling machine can be adjusted to different row widths with the passage between the individual shares being easily increased.
