CONVERGENCE CORRECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to omit a resistor to be externally fixed. CONSTITUTION:The internal resistance values of the 1st and 2nd convergence correcting coils 24, 25 are made to respectively different values. Thereby synthetic magnetic field phiS=phi1-phi2 becomes a parabolic shape magnetic field proportional to a difference between both the internal resistance values. Since a magnetic field to be changed parabolically can be generated without using a resistor to be externally fixed, horizontal misconvergence can be improved.
