PURPOSE:To provide a metal-hydride secondary battery which has large battery capacity and the long cycle service life. CONSTITUTION:After mixture of hydrogen storage alloy and a rare earth type oxide superconductor expressed by a composition formula ReBa2Cu3O7-x (Re represents a rare earth element and 0.1<=x<=1.0) is baked at 8X10<2>-12X10<2> deg.C in an inactive gas atmosphere, it is cooled slowly, and complex powder obtained by pulverization is formed integrally, Since hydrogen storage alloy is used as the complex powder with the rare earth type oxide superconductor, the surface of the hydrogen storage alloy is hardly oxidized, so that a hydrogen storing-releasing quantity by the hydrogen storage alloy becomes abundant. |
