PURPOSE:To prevent a device structure from making complicated by accurately setting an identification mark in position on a harness. CONSTITUTION:The wire path length from the cutting position of a cutter 141 to the center position of a marking tool 220 is set equal to the cut size of a wire 50 by a wire path length adjusting mechanism 100, and positioning of the wire 50 to the cutter 141 and to marking heads 221a, 221b is achieved simply by feeding the wire 50 using a wire feeding mechanism 110. Therefore, the cutting position of the wire 50 and the position at which an identification mark is provided are not changed relative to each other and a mark 53 can accurately be provided in a predetermined area of a harness. Further, a marking mechanism 200 is disposed upstream of the wire feeding mechanism 110 and not in a wire end processing portion where equipment arrangement is complicated, so the structure of the device does not become complicated. |
