PURPOSE:To reduce development time and development cost as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a microprocessor 2 for outputting address data and performing the arithmetic operation based on an instruction code, storage means 7 for storing the instruction code, serial/parallel converting circuit 6 for converting the address data and the arithmetic result from the microprocessor 2 to serial data, outputting them to the outside and parallelly converting the instruction code and a control signal serially sent from the outside, and connection switching means 4 for operations based on a mode select signal to select any one of first and second modes, electrically connecting the microprocessor 2 to the serial/parallel converting means 6 when the first mode is selected, switching the connection when the second mode is selected, and electrically connecting the microprocessor 2 to the storage means 7, and the microprocessor 2, storage means 7, serial/parallel converting means 6 and connection switching means 4 are formed on one chip. |
