<p>PURPOSE: To recognize an image based on internal structure not depending on size and the azimuth of the image. CONSTITUTION: The image is expressed as node, line, or curve or the like inside a memory and a descripter showing these elements is generated corresponding to both a reference image and a test image in a library. By comparing the descripter corresponding to the test image with the descripter in the reference image, screening is performed for remaining the pair of comparison having possibility. After screening, respective candidate images are searched based on the comparison of the test image and a path and the degree of correlation. Additionally, a link ratio, namely, the scale of ratio of the test image to be really coincident is calculated.</p> |
