PURPOSE:To restart processing from the midst without executing a commodity inspec tion processing again from the beginning even when the commodity inspection processing is stopped due to a fault such as power disconnection. CONSTITUTION:A nonvolatile memory 7 holds data 71 including the code and quantity of an order received commodity, and a commodity inspection result 72. When a commodity code is inputted from a bar-code of a commodity 9e by a scanner 9d, and the number of pieces is inputted from a keyboard 9b, a processing part 3 counts up the number of pieces at every commodity code, and updates the commodity inspection result 72. After all commodities are processed, an updating part 5 outputs information of the commodity which is not inspected from a printer 9f from data on a memory 7. When such a commodity inspection processing is being executed, saving parts 32, 34, 36 and 4 save suitably a processing phase 81 for showing the present processing stage, a commodity code 82 which is being inputted, and the commodity inspection quantity 83 which is being counted up in a backup memory 8. When the commodity inspection processing is stopped due to a fault such as power disconnection, and thereafter actuated, a discriminating part 11 detects a fact that a fault exists, based on the processing phase 81, and a processing part 12 executes a necessary release processing, based on the data on the memory 8, and restarts the commodity inspection processing. |
