PURPOSE:To provide a method for preventing deterioration with time of a piezoelectric element which is used in a state where load is applied constantly. CONSTITUTION:In the title method for preventing the deterioration with time of a piezoelectric element which is used in a state where load is applied constantly, voltage is applied to the upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric element for driving a device and then the upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric element are short-circuited temporarily and then the upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric element are retained to be in insulated state except on driving. |
