摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide an improved pressure vessel for a rechargeable metal oxide/oxygen battery, to increase heat dissipation through the pressure vessel by incorporating minutely divided heat-conductive particles into a resin, and thereby to improve performance of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A pressure vessel 1 which houses a plurality of cell modules has an inside liner 8 which prevents hydrogen gas from passing therethrough and an outside layer 9 of a fiber-reinforced thermocuring resin. Preferably, a fibrous reinforcing material 10 is a substantially continuous and spirally wound filament. A plurality of minutely divided particles 12 of a material having a high coefficient of heat conductivity are diffused in a resin substrate 11 of the outside layer. The minutely divided materials can have the form of powder or fibers and are composed of a metal or graphite.</p>
