PURPOSE: To provide a mobile radio telephone system which can by used for a small-zone mobile telephone system and can save the powder consumption of a battery. CONSTITUTION: The conventional mobile telephone set largely consumes electric power for monitoring calls to its own set. A call device used for a paging system, on the other hand, bas an inferior function as compared with a telephone set has, but the power consumption of the paging system when the system monitors calls to its own set is considerably smaller than that of a mobile telephone set. Therefore, a mobile telephone set 30 is combined with a call device 21 and the device 21 is made to monitor calls to its own device while the telephone set 30 is set to a rest mode in which the power consumption of the telephone set 30 becomes smaller and, when the device 21 is called, a power supply making command is issued to the telephone set 30 so that the set 30 may fulfill its function as a telephone set. Therefore, the power consumption of this integral communication equipment is reduced as a natural consequence.
