PURPOSE:To considerably improve operability on an optical space transmission device which transmits/receives a desired information signal with a transmission object through an optical beam transmitted especially in a space. CONSTITUTION:The information signal is transmitted/received through an input/ output device 2 which is separately formed with an optical space transmission device main body 4, and the optical space transmission device main body 4 and an input/output device 2 are selectively operated so as to switch an operation. Furthermore, the input/output device 2 can monitor the operation. The type of a substrate stored in the substrate storage means of the optical space transmission device main body 4 is detected and the operation of the input/ output device 2 is switched in accordance with the substrate, and the deterioration of an amplitude characteristic due to a transmission cable is compensated. |
