PURPOSE:To reduce the sewing cost, and also, to shorten the time required from reception of an order to delivery of goods. CONSTITUTION:This sewing process generating method is provided with a step S1 for inputting shape data of a sewing object, a step S2 for recognizing a shape of the sewing object from the inputted shape data, a step S3 for discriminating to which fundamental sewing object shape of plural fundamental sewing object shapes registered in advance the recognized sewing object shape is similar, a step S4 for reading out process information of the discriminated fundamental sewing object shape from a memory, steps S5, S6 for adding or deleting the process information of the recognized sewing object shape which does not exist in the read-out process information, and a step S7 for outputting the process information of the recognized sewing object shape which is added or deleted. |
