The connection arrangement includes a male section which is to be inserted into the female connector (1) to provide a positive lock. The male section is of rectangular form with a notch (6) and profile in the underneath part to assist sliding into the female section. The female connector has an elasticated section (52) at the front, with a protrusion (53). As the insert passes through, the section is pushed down. Further down in the channel is a fixed ramp (81) which the insert passes over and locks into position on the elastic section. The ramp only covers part of the channel, another adjacent section being raised to form a block (31). In addition the end faces of the two units butt up against each other at this point. Thus a firm and positive connector lock is formed. ADVANTAGE - Increases reliability by ensuring proper connection is made when connector is assembled.
