A clamping device (screw clamp) consists of a back bar (5), a counter bar (11) and a clamping bar (12), a clamping part (6) being connected to the counter bar (11) and/or to the clamping bar (12), and a pressure plate (7, 8) being connected in each case to the counter bar (11) and to the clamping bar (12) or to the clamping part (6). In order to be able to exert forces also on non-parallel surfaces, the counter-bar pressure plate (8) and/or the clamping-bar pressure plate (7) is/are angularly adjustable, preferably in that the counter bar (11) and/or the clamping bar (12) in each case consist of a bar bearing (1, 2) and a bar arm (3, 4) which is rotatable relative to the latter. <IMAGE> |
