<p>An adhesive composition suitable for sealing to polypropylene. The composition comprises 10 % to 90 % by weight ethylene polymer, e.g. an ethylene homopolymer such as polyethylene or an ethylene copolymer, 10 % to 90 % by weight modified polypropylene, 0 % to 30 % by weight rubber, and 0 % to 25 % by weight tackifier. The composition is useful when it is part of a heat-recoverable article (2) which is used to provide a protective coating onto a polypropylene-coated steel pipeline (4), particularly at a joint or weld (12) in the pipe.</p> |
