Improved efficiency cutting table for combine harvester - has airjets to lift grain into optimum cutting position including bent-over ears

The front of the cutting table (3) has a line of air jets (1) directed upwards to lift any bent over ears into the gathering wheel and thereby to the cutters. The air is supplied by a blower at the rear of the cutting table and is ducted through a central duct. The air jets are directed upwards and can be swivelled about 180 deg. for special effects. The air effect is applied over the entire width of the cutting table and lifts and lowers with the table adjustment. USE/ADVANTAGE - The airjet alignment allows the operator to set the cutters for min. straw intake and max. grain yield, even with bent-over ears.
