<p>A seed counter device comprising two metal electrodes (12, 13) around a seed channel (4) in a rigid housing (1). The housing comprises an electronic transmitter circuit electrically connected to one electrode (12) for transmitting an alternating signal, and an electronic receiver circuit (16) connected to the other electrode (13) for measuring changes in the capacitance of the capacitor formed by the electrodes and the seed channel. Furthermore, conductive crossmembers mechanically and electrically connect two electrical bodies (14, 15) arranged laterally in relation to respective electrodes (12, 13), to the metal mass of a coulter. A system for controlling the flow rate in a sowing machine incorporating said housing is also disclosed.</p> |
