The seat belt arrangement has a guide plate (4) rotatably connected to a belt end fitting (31) of the second end (30) of the seat belt (3). The guide plate is held against a bow-shaped bar (10) to be displaceable in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The guide plate has two or more rollers (41,42) arranged on opposite sides of the bar, which is provided with a toothed section (14). USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle seat belt system ensures that the unbuckled seat belt assumes a rest position which does not impede access to the rear seat when the front seat is folded forward.
