<p>A solar collector including a heat-insulated vessel (10) and an absorber (50). One side of the vessel is a transparent cover (20) turned towards the sun and consisting of a hollow element with parallel outer (30) and inner (32) walls between which air to be heated is at first forced to flow in order to collect, through convection, the heat energy absorbed by the cover and coming from both the direct solar radiation and the radiation of the absorber (50). The air thus preheated is then forced to flow over both sides of the absorber (50) in order to recover most of the stored heat energy. Said collector, when made self-contained by means of phovoltaic cells, is particularly useful for heating and ventilating homes.</p> |
