The invention relates to a method of making wire anodes for electrolytic capacitors, the anodes being obtained by compacting an anodisable metal wire (5) into the cavity (2) of a compression sleeve (1) under the effect of a piston (3), the wire passing right through the piston along the axis of displacement thereof and the sleeve through passage into its cavity. The method comprises, in order to produce an anode, the following operations:… a) shutting off the bottom of the cavity and fixing the wire at this level,… b) immobilising the wire relative to the piston which is in its raised position,… c) compacting the wire into the cavity by depressing the piston,… d) the wire and the piston are taken apart,… e) if necessary, operations b) to d) are repeated until the desired length of anode is obtained,… f) opening the bottom of the cavity and removing the anode obtained from the cavity with the aid of the piston,… g) lifting the piston to its raised position, the previously obtained anode remaining in its removed position, in order to start production of the next anode. …<??>The invention relates also to a device permitting implementation of the method. …<IMAGE>… |
