The flat structure (2) before its adhesion to the support part (4) and in connection with a prior thermic softening is provided with at least one pot-shaped convolution (5). At the same time an area of an edge zone (6) enclosing the convolution is provided with an embossed structure (7). The flat structure during the heating is exposed to the effect of an infra-red radiator. It is provided with the convolution and the embossed structure by application of a vacuum. USE/ADVANTAGE - To produce an air noise absorber in which an adhesion of the flat structure and the support part can be achieved without pre-treatment.
