PURPOSE:To make abonormality and normality checking of detectors easy and accurate by changing the voice states of a speaker according to the operation and non-operation of the assigned detector. CONSTITUTION:When one of the detectors 5-1-5-n to be checked is assigned by a switch C and ten keys 1, a display device 4 displays operation-check start and a display device 2 detector number respectively. In this state, the assigned detector is artificially repeated by repetition or the like of insertion and removal of an object into and from between a light projector and a photo detector in the case of, e.g., photoelectric switches. The change in the output signal by this is checked, and high tone oscillation sound pulses are generated from a speaker 3 when it is detected that the assigned detector has changed from OFF to ON and low tone oscillation sound pulses when it has changed from ON to OFF, respectively. Thereby, the operation checking of the detector may be readily and accurately performed. |
