A golf club (10) includes a club shaft (12) and a club head (20). The club shaft (12) has a grip end and an opposed hollow end (16). The club head (20) includes a body (22), a male pin (24) and a female hosel (26) disposed about the pin (24), the pin (24) and the hosel (26) together defining an annulus therebetween configured and dimensioned to receive therein the hollow shaft end (16). Adhesive is disposed both in a first bond line intermediate the inner surface of the hollow shaft end (16) and the outer surface of the pin (24), and in a second bond line intermediate the outer surface of the hollow shaft end (16) and the inner surface of the hosel (26). The pin (24) is preferably constructed of a material, such as brass, that is softer than both the material of the head (20) and the material of the shaft (12). |
