Substituted quinolylsulphonylureas A b s t r a c t The invention relates to new substituted quinolylsulphonylureas of the formula (I), <IMG> (I) in which R1 represents C1-C6-alkyl which is optionally substi tuted by halogen, R2 represents hydrogen or C1-C6-alkyl which is optional ly substituted by halogen, cyano, carboxyl, C1-C4-alkoxy or C1-C4-alkoxy-carbonyl, or represents C3-C6-alkenyl or C3-C6-alkinyl, each of which is optionally substituted by halogen, or represents phenyl-C1-C2-alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, cyano, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy or C1-C4-alkoxy-carbonyl, X represents hydrogen, halogen, cyclopropyl, or repre sents C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4-alkylthio, C1-C4-alkylamino or di-(C1-C3-alkyl)-amino, each of which is optionally substituted by halogen or C1-C4 alkoxy, Y represents hydrogen, halogen, or represents C1-C4- alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylthio, C1-C4-alkylamino or di-(C1-C3-alkyl)-amino, each of which is optionally substituted by halogen or C1-C4-alkoxy, and Z represents nitrogen or the group C-R3, in which R3 represents hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, and salts of compounds of the formula (I), with the exception of the compound N-(4,6-dimethyl-s-triazin-2-yl)-N'-(2-methyl-quinolin-8-yl-sulphonyl)-urea, and to processes for the preparation of the new compounds and to their use as herbicides.
