<p>Alkylidene di- and triglycerols (di- and triglycerol acetals and ketals) are novel materials useful as surfactants and wetting agents. The diglycerols show synergistic oily soil removal when used in conjunction with cosurfactants of higher HLB, while the triglycerols are especially effective used in conjunction with lower HLB cosurfactants. The new materials are especially useful in liquid detergent compositions.</p> |
