In the module, both series connected thermoelectric generators (2) have a bucket or cylinder-shaped alkali ion conducting fixed electrolyte (5) which separates a high pressure space (6) from a low pressure space (7). An alkali metal (20) circulates between the high pressure space and the low pressure space. A common low pressure space and a common supply container (4) for the alkali metal, with which all high pressure spaces are connected, are provided for all the thermoelectric generators. All the thermoelectric generators together with the supply container are enclosed in a common housing (3). ADVANTAGE - Has simple construction and requires less material.
