A spiral compressor has a stationary faceplate with an outlet opening (1c) which delivers compressed fluid from inside the fluid chamber to the outside. The centre (O1) of the outlet in relation to the centre (Ok) of the phantom circuit (k), is located with a certain separation to the end of the stationary spiral element (1b). A connecting channel (1d) is grooved out of the stationary faceplate. It connects the fluid chamber in the final stage of compression with the outlet. ADVANTAGE - Provides for reduced loading and wear and gives improved service life of seal.
