<p>Furanones of formula (I), wherein R?1 and R2¿ are the same and each represents a methyl radical, or R?1 and R2¿ are different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical, or else R?1 and R2¿ together represent a methylene radical, are useful as scenting ingredients for the preparation of scenting compositions and scented articles in that they impart coumarin and balsamtype fragrances.</p> |
