The articulated blades (L) are mounted in combination with at least two drive drums carried by a frame (6). The blades (L) present longitudinally, by pairs, complementary guiding and articulation profiles (R) and (C) which have been determined in order to create at least one continuous planar face, said blades being coupled to each other by means of flexible bonds (1). The movable surface thus obtained may be used for making a climbing wall.
