Liquid atomiser

A liquid atomiser is fitted with a tubular vertical piston which is extended to a dip pipe and can be moved by a trigger from a position of minimum to one of maximum entry in the pump chamber on top of the housing. In the minimum position the free volume of the pump chamber and of the passage, between the non-return valve in the piston and the valve seat of a spring-loaded stem should be at least 3.33 times that of the maximum position. The piston is made of rigid plastic material (polyamide, polypropylene or acetyl resin).The liquid atomiser has a nozzle (25) ib the nozzle holder (26) which can be exposed by swinging the cap (13) around the film hinge (14) and locking the ridge (16) in the recess (17). The trigger (34) lifts the tubular piston (41) from the position of minimum entry in the pump cylinder (8), as shown, into the maximum entry position. An annular groove (45) in the piston head (44) can accommodate the whole spring (50) when in contact with the bottom (11) in the max. entry position
