<p>Device for the regulation and control in a patient suffering from hydrocephalus of the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in a drainage circuit. The device comprises a subcutaneous transplant valve, inserted between an upstream tube (3) in communication with one of the cerebral ventricles and a downstream tube (5) for carrying off discharge fluid to an appropriate organ. The valve comprises a body (c) delimiting a passage for linking the upstream tube to the downstream tube, a shutter (14) for closing said passage and control means (7, 15) coupled to said shutter (14) for shifting it between a first closure position of the passage and a second opening position of said passage. The device is characterized in that the control means comprise a first chamber (12) formed in the body (1) and sealingly closed by a movable wall (7), a second chamber (6), formed in the body and separated from the first by the movable wall (7), into which opens the portion (2) of the linking passage located upstream of the shutter, means for coupling the movable wall (7) to the shutter (14) and a spring (17) for returning said shutter.</p> |
