The stress forming arrangement contains a plate-shaped spring (7) which is subjected to a force in the direction of the test object. The spring is flexurally weak in this direction and has slots (8) formed towards its periphery (11). The circumference of the plate-shaped spring is supported on the test object (1) in its spreading direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in testing objects which are subject to dynamic loading in operation, e.g. brake discs, tyres and suspension system springs. Enables generation of temp. and/or force related stresses in test objects which closely approximate operating conditions.
