The invention relates to a fitting for the articulation of a door leaf on a door frame, with a joint bottom part (4) fastened to the frame and with a joint top part which is movable on said joint bottom part about a vertical axis and which carries the door leaf, the joint bottom part (4) being inserted by means of two horizontal pins (2, 3) into the holding part (5) of a holding device (door-hinge holder) (1) fastened inside the frame and being retained there by at least one clamping part (11, 12), the height of the door leaf relative to the frame being vertically adjustable in that the pins (2, 3) of the joint bottom part (4) are vertically displaceable in the holding device (1) and can be locked in any vertical position relative to the holding device (1), and by means of a screw (9) which lies parallel between the pins (2, 3) and which, via the clamping parts (11, 12) located between the pins (2, 3), presses the pins outwards away from one another against a holding part (5) surrounding the two pins (2, 3) and a tension part (13), the underside of the screwhead (10) of the screw (9) being made conical and bearing with this conical face against two wedge-shaped or conical counterfaces of the clamping parts (11, 12) which bear on the pins (2, 3).
