A volumetric pump, partic. for non-vulcanised rubber comprises at least one delivering piston (10) sliding in a cylinder (11) alternatively between a high (PMH) and low (PMB) point between which in the wall (13) of the cylinder (11) are feed points (12). An exit port (14) fitted with a non-return valve (15) is situated in the closed end of the cylinder at the high point of piston travel. The cylinder is fed through the feel ports (12) e.g. by a feed screw (21), rotating in a chamber (20), extending from a feed entrance (22) in the chamber wall (20) to the cylinder feed port (12). The volume of material extruded in one cycle is the vol. of the cylinder swept by each piston between the point of covering the feed ports (12) to the highest point of travel (RMH).
