PURPOSE:To enable to perform the correction to the dispersion in the size of test piece vessel automatically and effectively, in the measurement of extinction, by optically measuring the size of test piece vessel and storing it through the use of the photometer. CONSTITUTION:The test piece of extinction alpha is put in all the test piece vessels T held at the test piece vessel hold frame F to perform the measurement of extinction, and from the result of measurement, the thickness X of optical test piece layer is obtained every test piece T and it is stored in the memory unit 7. After that, the test piece vessel is vacant and the extinction measurement is made by putting the measured sample. It is alphaX that can directly be obtained in the extinction measurement and since X is stored in the memory unit 7 to each test piece vessel T, the extinction alpha of each sample is measured with the operation unit 6 by using the memory. Thus, the correction to the dispersion in the size of the sample vessel can automatically and effectively be made. |
