PURPOSE:To carry out continuous mixing having a grinding effect at low cost by a simple and small container through a mechanism wherein a fluid containing a substance to be mixed is charged into a mixing container holding a medium from a supply inlet and mixed. CONSTITUTION:A medium 3 havig a spherical or similar shaped form made from a hard material such as stainless steel, high alumina and the like is charged into a container 1 up to about 1/5-2/3 of the bottom area of a cylindrical portion 6 of the mixing container 1. In this condition, when a fluid containing a substance to be mixed such as a fluid or powder and the like is introduced from a supply inlet 2 provided tangentially to the cylindrical portion 6 at high speed, a substance to be mixed within a fluid is continuously mixed and simultaneously a grinding effect is imparted by the rotation and the collision of the medium 3. Thereafter the medium 3 is separated by a metal net 5 and discharged from a discharging opening 4. Then, a small mixing container with a simple structure which does not require a motive power source is obtained. |
