A plug-in sleeve joint, in particular for concrete pipes, has a packing fixedly inserted into a sleeve. The packing has a single circumferential cavity which extends over practically the whole length of the packing. The packing (3) has ribs arranged in the cavity (8) which extend on both sides in the circumferential direction of the pipe towards the axis of the cavity and which are spaced apart in the axial direction of the pipes in such a way that when the pointed end of a pipe is inserted into the sleeve the ribs slide against each other so that the ribs of the one side of the packing enter the gaps between the ribs of the other side of the packing. |
